2016 - My contibutions were as director, editor, graphics artist, colorist, music co-composer, music arranger, music programmer, keyboards, recordist, mixing engineer. The song is based on folk song by Shah Abdul Karim, with which contemporary original lyrics have been incorporated.  This track is a unique mix of genres like Dance, Dubstep, Rock and Hip-Hop. It is based on a popular Bangla Folk song blended with contemporary urban original lyrics with high melody quotient . It has got mass appeal, experimental music and futuristic approach at the same time. This is no-budget video which was created out of  simple outdoor and recording studio shoot with amature camera. The visual sync done through fast editing and some special color correction and filters, have given the video the vibrant dynamics. Camera - Nikon D3200. 2009 - My contibutions were as co-director, editor, graphics artist, colorist, music co-composer, co-music arranger, co -music programmer, keyboards, recordist, mixing engineer. The song is based on "Friendship".  The band shoot was done with PA Speaker system as background, with live stage lights, smoke etc. to give three different looks in three verses. The slow motion with lip-sync concept was used which was created without a Slow-Mo camera. Radom bites of public, about their take on friendship, were used as montage during the  music interludes. This was my first music video with a little budget. Still the total cash expense was something around Rs. 27000 ($ 400 approx.). Camera - Sony Z1P (SD mode). 2006 - My contributions were as co-director, co-editor, co-colorist, music co-composer, co-music arranger, co -music programmer, keyboards, recordist, mixing engineer. The song is based on 1971's Indo-Pak war when Bengal was divided into West Bengal (In India) and the rest as Bangladesh.  Both have same language, culture, history, physic and look, but are two different countries, where you need to have a visa to see your own people. The stories of the war and refugee camps were very painful. This partition was a clear outburst of the ever-ignited fire between Hindus and the Muslims. As a protest symbol, the band shoot was done in candle lights only. 400 candles were used to shoot the video and not a single artificial light was used. Few outdoor terrace shots were used during the intro. Rest of the video has original 1971 war and post-war footages from a documentary were used as per the lyric. The music video was a very low budget video. Just the cost of the candles, a camera for a day and the FCP suite on hire. The total expense was Rs. 7000 ($ 100 approx.) Camera - PD170 (SD mode). 2007 - My contributions were as director, DOP, editor, graphics artist, colorist, music co-composer, co-music arranger, co -music programmer, keyboards, recordist, mixing engineer. The song is based on life and philosophy of a peanut-seller (very common in Indian public buses and trains). The video consist of an enactment of the protagonist, his daily activities, and incidents, supported by colorful band shoot. Face morphing was used as the transition from shot to shot. The music video was, as usual, a very low budget video. Just the cost of the travel, camera for a day and the actor's remuneration. We even managed the free permission to shoot on the railway platform from a source. The total expense was Rs. 7000 ($ 100 approx.) Camera - Sony handy-cam & PD170 (SD mode). This is an absolute zero budget video where I carried my handy-can to all the show of my band for a month. Shot whatever came on-way. The song is based on the concept, who the meaning of Love is different for different individuals. The video is a Chroma shoot with hand-drawn backgrounds. This was first of its kind at that time in Bengal. No compositing software was used and the video was done completely in Adobe premiere. The music video was a very low budget video.
